The Identity Careers Feedback Report from Quest Partnership can help an individual gain an insight into their preferences, style of learning, and which vocations may be best suited to their interests. The report can help individuals explore their interests and career opportunities in a more meaningful manner. It is ideal to support with career development, coaching and guidance.


The report can be used for individuals exploring career options or career paths e.g. young people who are unclear about what type of work they would enjoy, or people who are exploring or having an opportunity to change careers. Careers are often driven by things outside our own control and therefore some of us end up doing work or in careers we then find we do not enjoy, or no longer enjoy as much. This report therefore helps individuals to avoid this potentially large issue in their lives. Therefore, the report will help individuals think more carefully about matching their preferences and personality to their work.


There are 4 sections to the report, which are as follows:



  • Personal Characteristics - providing comprehensive feedback on the individual’s preferred ways of interacting with people, thinking, and their level of drive and motivation. This section also looks at potential strengths and development areas based on their responses.

  • Learning Orientation - identifying how individuals prefer to learn and how they can make best use of their learning style.

  • Career Focus - providing information on how their reported work preferences relate to six career / vocational interest areas.

  • Suggested Vocations - based on their preferences, looking at which occupations may be suited to their preferred Career Focus.


The report can be used to facilitate a discussion with a Careers Advisor on which vocations to explore and how to focus their development.
