Written Exercise - Report
For executive and senior management level, the senior-level written exercise will comprise relevant business information and provide issues that need to be dealt with at a strategic level. It will have sufficient challenge and complexity to differentiate candidates' performance. Typically, four key areas are assessed: Vision & Strategy, Analysis & Judgement, Planning & Organising, Organisational Sensitivity.
The exercise is paper-based, with candidates submitting their responses via a Word document (supported by an Excel document if they wish).
These exercises can work well, but only if the assessors are appropriately trained and skilled. Quest Partnership's experts can make the process hassle-free by marking and producing accurate reports. The Assessment Report provides information on performance against the four main competencies, providing scores or grades to allow swift comparison of candidates.
A Candidate Feedback Report is also included at no extra cost and can be passed on to candidates once recruitment decisions have been finalised. This report will provide useful development feedback for the candidates.
